Jonathan Treussard, Ph.D., founded Treussard Capital Management as an independent fiduciary serving individuals, families, and institutions. With over two decades of experience spanning top-tier academia, Forbes-listed family offices, and a $150 billion global asset manager, Jonathan brings institutional sophistication to boutique wealth management—helping clients navigate both financial complexity and life transitions with clarity and confidence.
He received a B.A. in Economics and International Studies from UCLA (Summa Cum Laude and College Honors).
As a Ph.D. student, Jonathan was hired by Nobel Prize winner Bob Merton to join Dr. Merton's firm Integrated Finance Limited in New York.
Jonathan has taught investment courses at several universities, including for MBAs at the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA.
Academic Pedigree
Jonathan holds a Ph.D. in Economics (specialized in Econometrics and Finance) from Boston University, where he was the recipient of a full Presidential Fellowship.
During the Global Financial Crisis, he was a senior member of the risk management team at Ziff Brothers Investments, where his efforts helped mitigate potential losses and protect assets during one of the most significant financial crises in recent history.
At Research Affiliates, a $150 billion quantitative global asset manager, Jonathan served as Partner and Head of Product, driving the firm's product strategy across all asset classes globally. His contributions included co-authoring the firm's Investment Beliefs, which provided a framework for strategic decision-making across the organization.

Katrina Sherrerd, Ph.D. - Advisor to TCM
Katrina Sherrerd was named on the 2026 Forbes 50 Over 50: Investment list and on the Pensions & Investments’ Influential Women in Institutional Investing honorees for 2024.
Katrina F. Sherrerd serves as an advisor to Treussard Capital Management, contributing decades of experience managing firms in the investment industry. She is CEO, Vice Chair, and a member of the Board for Syzygy, the firm formerly known as Research Affiliates, where she and Jonathan Treussard worked closely for years on critical aspects of firm strategy and business management.
Throughout her professional career, Katy has worked to further continuous education among investment professionals and stronger financial literacy among investors. In addition to her education efforts, she is an advocate for the benefits of a trust-based and inclusive cultures. In 2020 and 2021, Katy was named by Barron's as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in US Finance.

Prior to joining Syzygy, then Research Affiliates, she spent 19 years in various roles at CFA Institute, the largest global association of investment professionals. As part of the CFA Institute leadership team, she led the research and education effort, including oversight of the Financial Analysts Journal, conferences, and the Research Foundation, where she served as the executive director and member of the board of trustees of the CFA Institute Research Foundation. She also worked with various CFA Institute Board Committees, including the Planning Committee and coordination of the strategic planning activity.
Katy also serves on the boards of Rayliant Global Advisors and the Shipley School, where she is Chair of the Investment Committee; is involved with Women Investing in Security & Education (WISE); is a guest lecturer at both the Darden School and the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia; and serves as a mentor to others interested in financial literacy, the importance of culture, and career management.
Katy received her BS in finance from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School, an MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a PhD in finance from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of CFA Institute.
Paul Felsch, J.D. - Compliance
Paul Felsch serves as an external compliance consultant to Treussard Capital Management, providing guidance regarding the firm’s regulatory compliance program and obligations as a registered investment adviser. He is the founder and CEO of Helios Consulting, an independent governance, risk, and compliance consulting firm serving investment advisers and other financial services organizations.
Paul brings approximately two decades of combined legal, regulatory, and compliance experience. Before founding Helios, he served as Chief Compliance Officer and senior legal and compliance counsel at several leading retail and institutional investment management firms, including Allspring Global Investments, Galliard Capital Management, and Edward Jones.

Most recently, Paul served as Chief Compliance Officer for Allspring Funds Management, part of a global investment manager with approximately $400 billion in assets under management. In that role, he led the compliance function supporting the firm’s retail managed accounts business and its mutual fund, closed-end fund, collective investment trust, UCITS, and alternative investment fund products.
He also has served as Chief Compliance Officer of Galliard Capital Management, an approximately $90 billion institutional asset manager specializing in stable value and fixed-income strategies. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Compliance Officer and Anti-Money Laundering Officer for Edward Jones’ proprietary mutual fund complex and as Senior Compliance Counsel supporting the firm’s investment advisory, transfer agency, and distribution businesses.
A former government attorney, Paul began his legal career with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and later served in legal roles within the administrations of the Missouri Department of Economic Development and Missouri Department of Revenue.
Paul also teaches investment management regulation as an adjunct faculty member at Saint Louis University School of Law and has contributed to industry organizations including the Investment Company Institute, Mutual Fund Directors Forum, Investment Management Education Alliance, and National Society of Compliance Professionals.
